The campaign will unfold in distinct solicitation phases to reach potential donors. Members of the Capital Campaign Leadership Committee will be responsible for overseeing campaign activities in these phases. The four phases are:
Each of the phases will enable volunteers to contact their peers to request their support for the campaign. When and if overlapping occurs, the Campaign Leadership Committee will determine which phase a potential prospect will be assigned to. Only one presentation will be made to each family.
THE MAJOR/ADVANCE GIFTS PHASE - $10,000+
The Major/Advance Gifts Phase will require Fr. Joy and the members of the Leadership Committee to personally visit with select parishioners of St. Philip Neri.
Successful implementation of the Major/Advance Gifts Phase requires the Leadership Committee members to make their own gifts first and complete all visits within the specified time period.
THE INTERMEDIATE GIFTS PHASE - $7,500 TO $9,999
The Intermediate Gifts Phase will require that members of the Leadership Committee personally visit a specific number of regularly contributing parishioners.
Successful implementation of the Intermediate Gifts Phase will require committee members to complete their assigned visits in the allotted period of time.
THE SPECIAL GIFTS PHASE - $5,000 TO $7,499
The Special Gifts Phase will entail the organization of a select volunteer group to personally visit the next level of regularly contributing parishioners of St. Philip Neri Parish.
Successful implementation of the Special Gifts Phase (as well as the General Gifts phase, below) will require an expanded volunteer work force of 20-30 (or more) parishioners to make personal visits.
THE GENERAL GIFTS PHASE - $1,500 TO $4,999
During the General Gifts Phase the campaign volunteers visit the remaining active parishioners.
